Death Ray Cabaret will be making their Fringe Festival debut in the Toronto Fringe Festival! We applied for the BYOV category and it's going to be a killer show. Here is an excerpt from our press release:
With the directorial help of Fringe veteran Mark Andrada (2-Man No-Show), Kevin and Brad have created interweaving storylines and outlandish characters to bring what is best described as high energy absurdist sketch comedy from the Dark Side, influenced by and performed in the chapel space at the Trinity St. Paul’s United Church. Death Ray Cabaret combines music, character/sketch comedy and improv into a fringe debut you will not want to miss!

Death Ray Cabaret on Catch 23! Canadian Comedy Awards!
On July 31st, Death Ray Cabaret will be making a special guest appearance on Catch 23, Toronto's most popular competitive improv show! Come on down to the Comedy Bar (945 Bloor St. West) at 8pm to cheer us on!
Also, Death Ray's own Kevin Matviw is a core cast member of Troubadour, a competitive musical improv show that was recently nominated for a Canadian Comedy Award!
Also-also: DRC will soon be featured on Cracked.com, the official website for Cracked Magazine.

Sketch Com-Ageddon Finalists!
Yeaaaaah, that's right. After defeating 48 other sketch troupes from across the city (directly and indirectly) Death Ray Cabaret punched a laughter-sized hole in the faces of audience members at the Sketch Com-Ageddon finals. Up against three other teams, Death Ray Cabaret and The Local Singles tied for a decisive moral victory!
